Hi connections, we are currently hiring for a Security Analyst/Security Engineer/SOC/L2 position with a focus on Managed Service Engineers with a customer-centric approach. Here are the responsibilities and qualifications we are looking for:

Responsibility:

• Work as an onsite Managed Service Engineer at designated location to support daily database operations and administration activities
• Monitor database performance, availability, and capacity to ensure optimal system performance and reliability
• Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting if needed
• Manage database backup, restoration, replication, failover, and disaster recovery processes
• Perform database patching, upgrades, migration, and deployment activities
• Install, configure, administer, and maintain database environments if needed
• Manage database security, user access control, roles, privileges, and auditing activities
• Create and maintain database documentation, operational procedures, and technical reports
• Support application teams in database-related issues, data validation, and SQL optimization
• Conduct daily, and monthly database health checks, monitoring, and preventive maintenance activities regularly
• Coordinate with infrastructure, system, and application teams during implementation and troubleshooting activities
• Troubleshoot database incidents, perform root cause analysis, and provide timely resolution

MSE DBA :

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Information Systems, Information Technology, or similar field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Database Administrator specializing in EDB/PostgreSQL
• Strong hands-on experience in installing, configuring, upgrading, and maintaining EDB Postgres database environments
• Solid understanding of EDB/PostgreSQL database architecture, database objects, and administration best practices
• Experience in database performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting production database issues
• Experience in backup and recovery strategies, replication setup, failover, and disaster recovery implementation
• Experience managing high availability (HA) database environments and monitoring database health proactively
• Strong knowledge of SQL scripting, stored procedures, functions, indexing, partitioning, and transaction management
• Experience with database migration, patching, version upgrade, and deployment
• Familiar with EDB/PostgreSQL tools like PgAdmin, Barman, and others
• Good understanding of database security, user management, privilege control, and auditing practices
• Familiar with Linux/Unix administration and shell scripting to support database operations
• Database/EDB/PostgreSQL certification will be an advantage
