Job Summary

Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for websites and mobile applications. Have a desire to combine technical expertise with advanced artistic talent.

Primary Responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to create high-quality frameworks, prototypes, and designs for web and mobile applications.
• Ensure the design is responsive, user-friendly, and optimized for performance across devices.
• Incorporate user feedback and iterate the design to improve usability and aesthetics.
• Stay abreast of design trends, tools, and best practices in web and app development.
• Contribute to system design and maintain consistency across projects.

Required Qualifications

• Technical Skills: Mastery of HTML and CSS, with proficiency in at least one CSS framework (eg, Carbon Design System, Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS, or similar). Experience with responsive design principles and preprocessors such as SASS/LESS is a plus.
• Artistic Skills: Advanced artistic skills, including a portfolio that demonstrates creative visual design, typography, color theory, and composition. Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Figma, Sketch, or equivalent.
• Experience: 2+ years in web and/or application design, with a proven track record of delivering production-ready designs.
  Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Graphic Design, Web Design, Fine Arts, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Soft Skills: Communication, problem solving, and time management skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks (eg, React, Vue, Svelte) for interactive prototyping.
• Knowledge of UX/UI principles, accessibility standards (WCAG), and SEO best practices.
• Proficient in using version control like Git.
• A portfolio that includes diverse projects, such as e-commerce sites, SaaS applications, or mobile interfaces.
