About the role
We are seeking a driven and experienced Technical Programmer Translator (Mandarin Speaker) to join our team at PT. Global Infotech Solution'. As a full-time role based in Central Jakarta, Jakarta, you will play a crucial part in bridging communication between our local and international teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and the successful delivery of our projects.
What you'll be doing
- Technical Document Translation: Translate technical documents, including specifications, manuals, and reports, from Chinese to the English and local language (or vice versa).
- Technical Communication: Ensure that the principal team in China and the local internal team are able to communicate effectively through meetings, conferences, and technical discussions. Thus helping the customer to have an effective communication with the principal team in China.
- Technical Support: Offer technical assistance to the local internal team, which may involve troubleshooting, answering technical inquiries, and supplying technical information.
- Project Management: Provide project reports, identify issues, and monitor progress to assist in project management.
- Team Coordination: Collaborate closely with the principal team in China and the local internal team to guarantee the successful implementation of the project and to satisfy the requirements of the customer.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor in IT with Java or equivalent enterprise architecture programming experience.
- Proficient in both written and spoken Chinese (Mandarin), English, and Bahasa Indonesia.
- A minimum of two years of experience in a technical discipline, including software development and IT Project Management.
- A comprehensive understanding of the project's technical concepts and technologies.
- Exemplary written and verbal communication skills to facilitate communication between the principal team in China and the local internal team.
- The capacity to identify issues, monitor progress, and generate project reports is a critical component of effective project management.
